While showers, and even a rumble or two of thunder are all possible tonight, the big story is how windy it will be across the Mid-South. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 3am Wednesday.
A cold front will approach the area late Wednesday night and Thursday morning bringing the threat of strong to severe storms to the area. Much of the NewsChannel 5 viewing area is under a risk for severe weather late Wednesday night, and all of the area is under a risk for severe weather Thursday morning.
Behind the cold front highs will drop into the 40s as we end the week.
