Sunshine and warm weather will be with us for the rest of the work-week. Highs today and Friday will be in the upper 70s.
Rain will return Saturday morning and linger through much of the day.
Moderate showers will start the day but become more light during the afternoon time. Right now rain amounts look to be less than half of an inch.
The latest Drought Monitor continues to show drought conditions across our area. A "Severe" drought (orange color on the map) is in place for areas to the northwest and around the Metro area.
