Our weather story remains the same which means more chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Like the last several days, it won't rain everywhere, but those who see rain can expect a few storms to be strong to severe with the chance for locally heavy downpours and damaging wind gusts. Small hail is possible too.
While we won't all see rain, we will all see the hot and humid conditions. In the mid-state, the heat index will top out around 100 degrees. It'll be higher in West Tennessee and Western Kentucky; so, those areas will remain under a Heat Advisory today.
