Yay for rain! While not everyone picked up rain early Monday, we all got a break from the 90-degree heat thanks to persistent cloud cover throughout much of the day. Those that did get rain saw between 1/2" to 1 1/2" of rain.

The clouds and rain kept temperatures in the 70s and 80s across our area. Sadly, this break from 90-degree heat isn't going to last. Temperatures look to get downright offensive later this week as big-time humidity returns to the area also. Heat advisories will likely be issued for both Wednesday and the upcoming weekend.
