After a couple of good weather days to start the Father's Day
weekend, we'll see scattered showers and storms develop
later today & tonight.
A few of those storms could be strong to severe. While we
all need to stay weather aware, the risk for the strongest
storms is in our western & southwestern counties.
A cutoff low, which is cut off from the steering currents that move
weather systems across the country, will develop over the
southeast. This will give us an unsettled weather pattern
for the upcoming week. This is an unusual set-up for
us in summer. This will give us a mix of sun and
clouds with a chance for showers and scattered
thunderstorms each day through the week.
