In Depth:
An area of low pressure will track just to our northwest. This will
bring rain and windy conditions to the Mid-South. We'll see
sustained winds at 15-25 mph and gusts from 35-45 mph. That
has prompted a wind advisory tonight and Tuesday. The strong
winds could down limbs or cause some power outages.
This system will help our drought situation. Most areas will see 1-2
inches of rain. Here's the current forecast from one of our computer
models.
