May looks to end on a mild note with low humidity and comfortable conditions through the end of the week. Lower humidity will make mornings feel crisp and afternoons comfortable through Friday. Areas East of Nashville will likely dip into the upper 40s Thursday & Friday morning.
Moisture will start to build back into the area Saturday with spotty showers and storms returning with it. The weekend won't be a washout, but there will be some on and off showers and storms starting Saturday and continuing through the middle part of next week.
Temperatures will gradually creep into the upper 80s by the middle of next week setting the stage for soupy conditions by the start of CMA fest.
