Thanks to an area of low pressure rain and a few thunderstorms are possible tonight. A couple of storms could be strong.
The Storm Prediction Center keeps the greater threat of strong to severe storms in Southwest Tennessee, but there is a chance for areas south of I-40, and west of I-65 to see a stormw it strong wind and small hail.
Temperatures overnight will be on the mild side in the upper 50s for most locations.
Friday will be on the cool side with highs in the upper 60s, to around 70 (average high is 76) across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Rain chances will also linger in the forecast Friday.
