Authorities confirmed one person has been killed in a crash on Interstate 24.
The wreck happened around 11:38 a.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of the interstate at mile marker 19, not far from Maxey Road in Montgomery County.
Details on the crash were limited, but officials confirmed one person was fatally injured.

The wreck involved a commercial vehicle, and authorities said a semi caught on fire.
The roadway was closed to drivers headed west. Eastbound traffic was not affected.
Both incidents have caused major delays along the interstate. Some motorists have been told to turn around and driver along the shoulder.
Crews estimated the roadway would be cleared by 4 p.m. No additional details were known.
