WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING WITH SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

1 dozen glazed donuts

1 cup Half & Half

6 Eggs

1/2 cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 Tbl Cinnamon

Pinch Salt

2 Tbl Unsalted Butter

1/4 cup White chocolate chips

1/4 cup Salted Caramel Sauce

Ice cream or topping of your choice

DIRECTIONS:

Cut the doughnuts into 1 inch pieces and bake in the oven at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add cream, butter, and sugar to a sauce pot until warm and set aside. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together well.
Slowly add the warm cream mixture into the egg mixture while constantly whisking together. Place the doughnut cubes into a greased casserole dish. Pour the custard over the doughnuts. Mix well in casserole dish but do not break up the doughnuts. Sprinkle white chocolate chips over the mixture. Pour salted caramel over the mixture and let set for 30 minutes. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and add toppings of your choice.
