Sightseeing: Taking a Ride Around A Metro Park

Ms. Cheap took us to Warner Park to learn about their free golf cart tours for the physically challenged. Cart tours at Warner Park Nature Center are led by volunteers and naturalists on Fridays at 10am and 11am and Saturdays at 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Call (615) 862-8555 to register by phone or email the Nature Center at wpnc@nashville.gov. Cart tours are exclusively for folks who find walking the trails difficult.

The Cumberland River Compact presents Waterfest, a free one-day water-centric festival 1pm-4pm Sunday, July 14 at Cumberland Park. For details, visit https://cumberlandrivercompact.org/events/waterfest/.

The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is hosting a World War II reenactment event Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of WWII and Tennesseans' involvement.
