Maple Pecan + Bacon Brie in Puff Pastry
Ingredients:
1 sheet of Puff Pastry
1 wheel of Brie
1/2 c Maple Syrup
1 c Pecans
4-5 strips of cooked | chopped bacon
Tools:
1 sheet of Parchment Paper * Not wax paper
1 cookie sheet
Optional Add ins:
Chopped Green Onions
Dried Cranberries
4-5 Tbsp Apricot Jam
What to Do:
1. Remove Puff Pastry from freezer, allow to thaw
2. Heat oven to 400
3. Heat the maple syrup over medium heat
4. Add Pecans to maple syrup
5. Reduce heat to Low
6. Allow Pecans to simmer and thicken
7. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
8. Lay Puff Pastry flat on parchment paper and add the Brie to the center, gather the edges
9. Baked 8-11 minutes until light golden brown
10. Remove from oven and pour the maple & pecan mixture over the top
11. Top with bacon, green onion and other toppings of choice
12. Cut and serve
