Titans Move Up Three Spots To Select Alabama's Evans

Posted

Titans GM Jon Robinson made it clear he was willing to sit and wait wit the number 25 pick overall in this year's NFL Draft, but apparently, he couldn't wait any longer.

That's why Robinson moved up three spots in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens to number 22 overall to  take Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans.

Evans is 6'3", 232 pounds. He is likely already a candidate to replace Avery Williamson, who left Tennessee via free agency, at inside linebacker. Evans started one year with the Crimson Tide and was a second-team All-SEC pick in 2017.

He started 12 games, tying for the team lead with 74 tackles, leading the team with 13 tackles for loss, making six sacks, and breaking up three passes.
