NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Titans announced the hiring Thursday of Anthony Midget as the team's new secondary coach.
Midget takes the place of Kerry Combs, who left earlier this month to become the defensive coordinator at Ohio State.
He had spent the last five seasons with the Houston Texans, including a two years stint as their secondary coach.
The Florida native's coaching career began at Virginia Tech, where he played cornerback for the Hokies.
In the 2018 season, the Texans had 15 interceptions and were a top five scoring defense.
Midget was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
