JACKSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Titans failed to shine under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football, losing to the Jaguars 20-7 in Jacksonville. The loss was the Titans' second in four days, dropping their record to 1-2.

Jaguars rookie quarterback Gardner Menshew II tossed two touchdown passes and Josh Lambo kicked two field goals. Jacksonville native Derrick Henry scored the Titans only touchdown with a one yard run early in the 4th quarter.

The Titans were, at times, their own worst enemies in this game, committing nine penalties and QB Marcus Mariota was sacked nine times.

"We kept shooting ourselves in the foot," said Henry.

The Jaguars' first touchdown was set up when Adoree' Jackson mishandled a punt on the wet field. Jacksonville was set up first and goal at the Tennessee seven yard line and the Jaguars scored one play later.

"I was trying to make a play," said Jackson. "Big mistake by me."

The Titans will have extra time to prepare for their next game as they will travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons a week from Sunday.

"We have to go back and make the necessary corrections," said Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel. "We need to get better."
