Predators Give Bedroom Makeover To Teen Battling Brain Tumor

Posted

A Williamson County teenager battling a brain tumor got a special gift from the Nashville Predators Foundation.

Krystal Adams, age 19, got to see her new beach-themed bedroom for the first time Saturday.

Volunteers, along with the Preds' wives and girlfriends and the non-profit corporation Special Spaces, teamed up to create a surprise bedroom makeover.

After being cancer-free for three years, Krystal's brain tumor has returned.

She said she’s very grateful for her beautiful new room.

“I was actually really surprised,” she said. “I wanted to cry. My dad hugged me and he wanted to cry, too.”

Krystal also received a hockey stick from her favorite Preds player, Pekka Rinne.
