Hurricane Florence is expected to make landfall early Friday morning unleash extreme storm surge, possibly historic flooding rains, and damaging winds in the Carolinas.
Earlier this week, Tennessee State University announced the storm forced the cancellation of its game against Hampton University. That game would not be rescheduled.
The University of Tennessee announced that evacuees will be able to attend Saturday’s game for free. Anyone wanting tickets must provide a valid, state-issued ID for either North or South Carolina. Ticket distribution will close at noon.
