NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The price tag on building a Major League Soccer stadium at the fairgrounds just went up. It will cost the team $50 to 70-million more than expected to build the stadium.
Outside the stadium they plan on having a festival-like atmosphere to vibe with Music City.
While it will cost millions more to build, the Nashville Soccer Club confirms that the stadium is still scheduled to open by 2022. The team will still join the Major League Soccer league next year. They'll play at Nissan Stadium until the new stadium is completed.
