Belmont women's basketball coach Cameron Newbauer has agreed to a five-year contract extension with the school, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The deal is expected to be announced on Thursday.
Newbauer led the Belmont to a 24-9 record and the OVC Tournament title last season. The Bruins advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history and first time since 2007.
Newbauer is 52-44 overall in three seasons at Belmont. Before arriving in Nashville, he served as a top assistant for Jeff Walz at Louisville, helping the Cardinals reach the national championship game.
