MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — Wilson County Schools will close on November 20 due to anticipated staffing issues related to COVID-19.

The district said it projects an inability to staff schools due to illnesses and quarantines from the virus.

Friday will be treated as a stockpile day and only impacts students. Teachers will still report to schools on Friday and all KIDS Club and TLC activities will remain open.

Wilson County Schools are closed all next week for Thanksgiving break.
