CADIZ, Ky. (WTVF) — Trigg County Schools has approved a plan that will allow students to return for in-person classes in late September.

The district said the school board approved the plan Monday during a special meeting. Students will begin virtual learning on Aug. 31 and return for in-person classes on September 28 – if they choose to do so.

Earlier this month, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear recommended that schools delay the start of in-person classes until late September to give the state more time to get the pandemic under control.
