Wu-Tang Clan will be first hip hop artists to perform at Ryman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Officials with Ryman Auditorium announced the Wu-Tang Clan will "Bring da Ruckus" to the mother church of country music.

The group will be the first hip hop group to ever perform in the legendary venue.

They debuted in the early 90's with the album "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" which was had huge success. Their songs "C.R.E.A.M." and "Method Man" hit Billboards Top 100. The group has sold more than 40 million records worldwide including individual solo efforts from the RZA, the GZA, Ghostface Killa, Method Man, and other associated acts.

In a tweet on social media, officials announced the group will perform June 9, and tickets will go on sale Friday.
