NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police were kept busy investigating a shooting that spanned two crime scenes late Wednesday night.

Officers were first called to Broadway, where a woman drove up outside of Rock Bottom and said she'd been shot.

Investigators say they later found a crime scene connected with the shooting on Claiborne Street, just south of downtown Nashville near J.C. Napier homes.

NewsChannel 5's crew at the scene counted more than 75 evidence markers spread out on the road. Multiple vehicles were damaged by gunfire, as well.

The victim was shot in the leg. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, and is expected to be okay.

Officers have not released a motive or a description of the gunman.
