MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — Wilson County Schools officials announced the plan to move forward after the March tornado ripped through two of the district's schools.
Mt. Juliet and Green Hill High School will both be converted to support 7th-12th grade students, while Mt. Juliet Middle will change to a K-6th grade school. That will give students from West Wilson Middle School and Stoner Creek Elementary somewhere to go while their schools are being repaired.
School board members expect those repairs to take at least 14 months.
