NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Waffle House Inc. has filed a lawsuit against accused Waffle House shooter, Travis Reinking and his father, Jeffrey Reinking.

A total of four people died in the shooting in April of last year. The suit was filed the day after the one year anniversary of the attack.

It alleges that Jeffrey gave his son, Travis, a firearm, knowing Travis' permit had been revoked and he was mentally unstable.

It states Jeffrey's actions "led to the injury and death of multiple Waffle House patrons and the destruction of Waffle House property."

The company is requesting no less than $100,000 in damages. It is one of several lawsuits filed in the case.
