Throughout 2020, events are being held across Nashville to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, granting the right for women to vote. Tennessee played a key role, by being the 36th state to ratify the amendment, the final necessary for the Amendment to become part of the Constitution.
