NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Tennessee Valley Healthcare System are rolling out a program to help veterans and their family members who are dealing with the after effects of combat.

REBOOT Combat Recovery is a free 12-week long trauma healing course designed to improve mental, physical and social well-being of returning veterans.

TVHS encourages spouses and loved ones of veterans to join in because trauma impacts the whole family.

Each course will be held at the VA TVHS in Nashville at 1310 24th St. S. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Sept. 5. The courses will begin with a provided dinner.
