NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Titans can make it simple for themselves and their fans: win Sunday and there will be playoff football for the Titan faithful. However, if the Titans lose to the Texans for the second time in three weeks? Well, the two-tone blue will need a little help.
First the good news: despite a loss to the Texans just two weeks ago Titans fans can take heart. For one, it was a close one with Houston edging out the Titans by a field goal. Secondly, the Texans have already clinched a playoff spot and have little to play for.
However, should the Titans come up short Sunday, there are still various scenarios that put Tannehill, Henry and Co. in the playoffs with a little help from their conference rivals. If the Colts and Steelers lose, Tennessee would still get in as the 6th seed.
