Third Suspect Sought In Fatal Clarksville Shooting

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A third suspect has been identified in connection with a fatal shooting in Clarksville.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said Wednesday that 18-year-old Bobby Lenor III is wanted for criminal homicide in the shooting death of Charles Whitfield.

Whitfield was shot and killed on College Street in the early morning hours of May 23.

Two others, 18-year-old Tequan Evans and 19-year-old Tremond Dinell Lenor, have already been taken into custody in connection to the shooting.

Police said probable cause had developed linking Lenor directly to the fight and fatal shooting.

Lenor was to be considered armed and dangerous.
