FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee's first confirmed COIVD-19 patient is telling his story.
Chris Baumgartner has identified himself as the Williamson County man who was "patient zero."
In a post to Facebook Sunday night, he explained that his case was mild, but mentally, the experience was all over the board.
"Imagine having to confront a virus, so feared, it now has the entire world on the brink of mass hysteria, while at the same time, being forced to deal with irrational panic, people demanding to know if you are the 'one,'" Baumgartner said.
He said at the same time, he experienced a lot of kindness from friends and neighbors who brought them food, cards, books and more to pass the time during quarantine. He said his family never felt alone.
