A Lafayette, Tennessee man has been arrested after allegedly shooting at a victim in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5600 block of Louisville Road just before 2:15 a.m. Sunday after shots were fired.
Deputies made contact with 36-year-old Milton Clemente, of Bowling Green, who said a man came to his home, pulled a small caliber pistol, and fired multiple rounds at him.
The suspect was later identified as 34-year-old Israel Venegas, of Lafayette.
Authorities found Venegas in a different lot on the property, hiding inside someone else’s vehicle.
He was arrested without incident and has been charged with attempted murder, three counts of first degree wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and tampering with physical evidence.
Venegas was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. The investigation remained ongoing.
