A Nashville teen was arrested in the shooting death of 16-year-old Deberianah Begley.
Antonio Gordon-Jenkins, 17, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide after allegedly shooting and killing Begley at James Cayce Homes.
Police believe he was with a group of people who fired shots at another group in the courtyard.
Deberianah was sitting on a porch when she heard the gunfire, and tried to run for cover, but she was hit in the neck.

“Firearms in the hands of juveniles all too often lead to heartbreaking tragedy,” Chief Steve Anderson said. “I ask that all parents, guardians and other influential adults work with us to help keep guns out of the hands of minors on the streets.
