Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents responded to an officer-involved shooting in Giles County.
The shooting happened Friday night in Pulaski when Pulaski Police tried to pull over a driver who was reportedly driving recklessly.
Officers initiated the stop near Robin Hood Road and Lynne Road, but the driver drove into the yard of a home and back onto the road to try to get away.
As he drove back onto the roadway, he reportedly struck a parked police vehicle and continued to drive toward an officer standing nearby. A second officer fired shots at the driver, hitting him. The vehicle crashed a short distance away.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No officers were injured during the incident.
