NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH) has announced that tarps are available in Nashville for victims whose homes have suffered tornado damage.
With rain in the forecast starting Monday, the tarps are intended to help people prevent rain from getting into damaged homes and ruining furniture and other possessions.
Emergency Management officials urge residents to secure damaged windows and roofs before this weather hits.
Tarps and other resources for North Nashville are available at two NOAH member congregations. They are Lee Chapel AME Church, located at 1200 Dr. D.B. Todd Blvd., and New Covenant Christian Church, located at 2201 Osage Street.
Residents can also call 311 for assistance getting a tarps or materials to secure their homes from weather.
