Suspects Fire Shots At Franklin Gas Station Clerk; Photos Released

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police in Franklin have asked the public’s help in catching two men who fired shots at a gas station clerk during an early morning robbery.

The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. at a Mapco on Goose Creek Bypass, not far from Interstate 65.

Officials with Franklin Police said two armed men entered the store and fired two shots at the clerk on their way out. No one was struck by the gunfire.

Police said the clerk was assaulted during the robbery and taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

Both suspects hid their faces during the incident.

Detectives said they're also searching for the identities of the men below who were believed to be connected to the robbery.

They were traveling in a black car, pictured here, and were seen at a gas station in Nashville less than an hour after the robbery in Franklin.
