NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The suspect accused in a deadly Nashville shooting on Christmas night has surrendered to police.

Officials with Metro Nashville police said 18-year-old Zyqiius Barnes turned himself in after Tuesday’s incident on Wimpole Drive.

Police said 28-year-old Henry Campbell was fatally shot during an argument. Barnes' sister, 25-year-old Shanecia Solomon, was also shot and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, Barnes and Solomon were at a relative’s house when they reportedly got into a physical fight over Barnes taking the keys to her Chevrolet Impala.

Campbell tried to separate the two when Barnes allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired, hitting both Campbell and Solomon.

Barnes is expected to be charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
