NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Storm 5 Alert for our area has expired.
A cold front moved across the area overnight, prompting a few storm warnings. Most of the area was under a Tornado Watch but that has since expired.
Skies will become mostly sunny today before some clouds return in the afternoon and for early tonight. We'll see clearing skies late tonight, and that may open the door for some patchy frost in the outlying communities.
It'll be sunny and cool for Good Friday, but patchy frost is possible again early Saturday morning. Rain chances increase for Saturday night and Easter. Some of the rain Sunday could be locally heavy with a few thunderstorms possible.
