NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged with a felony count of impersonating a veterinarian at an East Nashville clinic that has been under investigation for months.

The investigation began in September after pet owners reported that their dogs and cats experienced complications following procedures at the clinic. Police say investigators are aware of at least seven cases between August 2025 and September 2026.
According to police, Pandya has never been licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee. He previously applied for a license but failed the required exams.
Despite not having a license, investigators say Pandya presented himself as a veterinarian, using the title "Dr. Pandya" and wearing a white coat labeled "Dr. P.F. Pandya DVM."
Detectives, representatives from the District Attorney's Office and agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are involved in the investigation. Investigators also executed a search warrant at the clinic Tuesday.
NewsChannel 5 has previously reported on concerns surrounding the East Nashville clinic, including two dogs that died and another that experienced serious complications after receiving treatment there.
Our reporting also uncovered questions about a veterinarian's licensing status and records showing he failed a required licensing exam at least 10 times.
Police say additional charges against Pandya are expected as the investigation continues.
