Startup Bus Travels Through Nashville

A bus filled with entrepreneurs and coders drove through Nashville as part of the 'Startup Bus' program.

The program took some of the smartest minds in the country, and put them on a bus together, with the goal of creating a new start-up in 72 hours.

However, they’re expected to do it while the bus travels from Florida to Colorado.

This year the focus was on creating something new in the food and drink business. One group was creating a virtual reality to help train bartenders.

Those on the bus said it was a lot of work, but was worth it.

"You just basically work. And you work your butt off. It's a lot of learning. It's a lot of changing. It's a lot of pivoting. But it's a really great experience,” said Nick Price.

"Nashville obviously has a lot of going on right now nationally. It's a hot place; so we thought it would be a great place to bring everyone to hang out for one night,” said Startup Bus Conductor Justin Davis.

Those on previous start-up buses have gone on to create successful companies.
