NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting were remembered Thursday on the three-year anniversary of the deadly shooting.
A total of 61 people died in the shooting including the gunman who opened fire on a crowd of fans at the festival.
One of those victims was Tennessee-native Sonny Melton from Big Sandy, Tennessee. Country artists John Rich took time to honor him and others on social media.

A scholarship fund was set up in Melton's name.
