A shooting victim reportedly walked to a local Tiger Mart for help.
The shooting happened Saturday before 10 p.m. near Brick Church Pike and West Trinity Lane.
Authorities said the victim walked from the Jack in the Box in that area to the Tiger Mart. According to the victim, he had been asleep on the property near Jack in the Box when he was robbed and shot.
Officials arrived at the scene, and the victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation remained ongoing.
