Roads close for Let Freedom Sing event in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Many roads in downtown Nashville will be closed for the "Let Freedom Sing" event Thursday. Here's a look at an abbreviated list of road closures.

  • Broadway from 1st Avenue to 8th Avenue
  • Woodland Street Bridge: open to pedestrians only
  • John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge
  • Church Street: 1st Avenue to Second Avenue
  • Commerce Street: 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue
  • Union Street: 3rd Avenue to Woodland Street Bridge
  • Korean Vets Boulevard inbound lanes
  • 2nd Avenue from Demonbreun to Commerce Street
  • First Avenue from Church Street to Union Street
  • Church Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue
  • Bank Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue

The Woodland Street Bridge and John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge will re-open immediately after the fireworks show. All roads to re-open no later than 5:00pm on Saturday, July 6.
