A new report from INRIX has shown that drivers in Nashville's rush hour traffic spend a big portion of their commute in gridlock, behind only 10 other U.S. cities in the so-called peak congestion rate.
Not only that, the report puts a dollar figure to how much money people waste sitting in Nashville traffic each year - more than $1,300 per person per year in lost productivity.
Nashville's overall traffic picture fared a little better, ranking as the 23rd worst traffic in the United States, according to the report -- not an unusual figure for an area the size of Nashville.
