Jackpot Big Enough to Buy Nashville Treasures

The $800 million jackpot has certainly captured the attention, and imaginations, of the country.

Powerful sales across the country have led to a record-breaking jackpot.

Once someone wins, about half of the earnings would go to taxes and other sort of costs. But, what could that buy you in Nashville?

The Batman Building, for example, was last appraised at $79,554,900.  The Parthenon was built in the 1930s. The price tag was a cool $1 million.  By today's standards, that's roughly $14 million.

What about everyone's favorite NFL team?

The Tennessee Titans team is valued around $1.4 billion.  Unfortunately, the jackpot won't cost the entire cost of the team, but it could get someone a significant portion of the team.

So, in theory, if these buildings (and team) were for sale, the lucky winner could build their own Parthenon, buy the Batman Building and own a portion of the Titans.
