Police Seize 54 Lbs. of Meth In Clarksville Drug Bust

Officers arrested two people after finding 54 pounds of crystal meth valued at $2 million in Clarksville drug bust

The 19th Judicial District Task Force and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit made the bust Wednesday.

Agents with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force found probable cause to serve a search warrant in the North Clarksville area.

When they executed the search warrant, agents found 54 pounds of a crystalline substance wrapped in individual packages. The substance tested positive for Methamphetamine. They also found $7000
in cash.

Officials valued each gram at about $80, making the street value for the bust, about $2 million.

James Castile, 45, and Stan L Crunk, 46, both of Hopkinsville, were taken into custody by officers in Kentucky and face numerous drug charges by Kentucky officials.
