Police searching for man who robbed First Tennessee Bank

Metro Police are looking for the identity of a man who robbed First Tennessee Bank and hit a customer on the head with a gun. More images of the man can be seen in the video above.

According to police, the First Tennessee Bank on Sawyer Brown Road was robbed at 12:25 p.m. Friday afternoon. The robber is described as a black man, 5’8” tall, who wore a mask that covered the lower portion of his face, a white or light gray hoodie and dark pants.  According to police, he tracked dried mud into the bank, indicating that he may have come from a work site. 

After receiving cash, the robber fled the area in a small white car with a hatchback that had a blue and white tag.

The customer who was hit in the head received a non-critical injury.
