Police search for suspect in Nashville jewelry burglary

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police Department officials asked for the public's help in their search for a burglary suspect.

Police say the man threw a concrete block through the glass window of Peacock Jewelers on 21st Avenue South at 10:30 Saturday night. He then allegedly stole more than 200 rings from the store and got away on a purple bike.

He was described as being a bald man with a goatee in his 50s. Anyone who recognizes him was asked to call police at 615-742-7463.
