Police search for Honky Tonk liquor thieves

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three people are suspected of stealing more than $2,000 worth of liquor from Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and Layla's Honky Tonk on Broadway.

Police say a man entered a rear glass door Thursday morning at Tootsie's but was confronted by a security guard and left.

On Wednesday morning, one of the suspect's went through the bar's rooftop doors and stole $800 worth of liquor. Police say on Sunday, a woman drove into the alley behind Layla's and two men got out of the car.

They took $300 worth of beer then got onto the roof and crossed several rooftops making their way to Tootsie's. Police say they stole $1,200 worth of liquor then.

Police are looking for two men and a woman. Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
