NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — MNPD are asking the public to take precautions in 2019 after announcing that a total of 686 guns were stolen out of vehicles in Nashville last year.
According to police, these thefts occurred all over Nashville and most of the vehicles were unlocked at the time the firearms were stolen from them.
On their Twitter account, police urged the following: "Please consider parking smart and securing your weapons/valuables to be among your New Year's resolutions!"
