Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall, Nashville Mayor David Briley and other city officials unveiled their vision for the Behavioral Care Center.
The 60-bed center will serve as an alternative to jail for mentally ill arrestees.
It's their way of decriminalizing mental illness and getting those help that need it.
The center is set to open in early 2020.
